Shipping Rates
Canada:
- Standard (with tracking) over $80 CAD: FREE
- Standard (with tracking) under $80 CAD: $15.99
- Free Lettermail - NO TRACKING - available for orders $8.99-$79.99
United States (excluding US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Guam, military and air force bases.)
Standard over $125 CAD: FREE
Standard under $125 CAD: $15.99
Order Fulfillment
Orders are shipped Monday through Friday, within two (2) business days after the order is placed. Occasionally up to 5 business days may be required to prepare your shipment, depending on the order size, ongoing sale/ promotions or Holiday season. Please be patient during those times as all orders are assembled and packaged by hand with care.
If there is any delay expected for your order or an item or part of your order is currently not in stock, we will contact you through email and/or phone.
Custom Fees or Duty Taxes
When packaging and labeling your shipment, we do our best to prevent you from having to pay any additional fees upon receipt of your shipment, However, please note that your local law and policies may require you to pay customs fees or duty taxes for your purchase. thescented.ca is not responsible for customs fees or duty taxes incurred. Customs fees or duty taxes are solely the responsibility of customer.
Note: In the event that a customer declines to pay customs fees or duty taxes and refuses to accept the shipment, they are entitled to a partial refund upon the safe return of shipment to thescented.ca. Once the shipment is safely returned to us it will be inspected and a partial refund will be issued to the customer, less the shipping fee (if applicable) and a 25% restocking fee.
Refunds & Returns
It is guaranteed that all Niche and Designer Fragrances as well as Fragrance Samples sold by The Scented are 100% genuine and authentic perfumes. All samples are hand decanted from the original manufacturers bottle into an unused, sterile decant sprayer. While we can guarantee the authenticity of our products, we cannot guarantee that you will like the scent. Therefore we do not accept returns on any fragrance samples.
Occasionally, the postal service can be a dangerous place for fragile items. In the event that you receive a damaged product in the mail, Email us right away with the details and attach a picture of the product as you received it for a replacement.
*Replacements will only be issued if an accurate/clear picture of the damage is provided*
Returns & Exchanges on Apparel are available within 5 business days of the shipment being received. Items must be unworn and return in their original condition at the buyer's expense. For exchanges on apparel due to sizing, the replacement item will be mailed out within 2-3 business days of the returned item's arrival back to our warehouse.
In order to avoid any sizing issues please confirm measurements prior to purchase. Please email us with any questions regarding apparel sizing.
Orders Not Received
If your order has been shipped with a tracking service and is scanned delivered to the correct address/postal code, it will not be refunded or replaced.
We are not responsible for any orders that are claimed lost or stolen after the time of delivery.
Please allow 1-2 days for shipments scanned as "delivered" as sometimes the package is pre-scanned while in transit to its destination.
Please make sure your shipping address is correct. Orders that are returned to us because of an invalid address may be reshipped at your expense.
After an order has been confirmed by the carrier as delivered to the shipping address, we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages. Since we cannot provide a refund or replacement for lost or stolen packages, please choose a secure delivery address. We are not able to offer any refunds or replacements for products damaged after delivery. Thank you for your understanding.
